The Oklahoma Faith Network has initiated a sign-on letter to State Superintendent Ryan Walters in response to his decision to form a committee to examine reinstating corporate prayer in our public schools. Mr. Walters has stated that he received feedback from faith and community leaders requesting organized prayers return to our public schools and that he values the feedback of faith leaders in our state. We know the faith voice in Oklahoma is not unilateral and issue the following letter in response to the forming of this committee.
