IMpact committee
The IMPACT Committee looks at active legislation at the state level during session, as well as interim studies. The committee then prioritizes which bills and issues to focus on, track, and ultimately advocate for or against based on OFN’s seven areas of focus and corresponding theological statements.
OFN believes that our faith communities play an important role in holding the line of morality and ethics in our culture and communities. The committee strongly focuses on issues and policy that affect social issues and the least among us, rather than engaging in partisanship.
