kat romero
Kat Romero serves as the Director of Operations for the Oklahoma Faith Network.
Kat grew up in Norman, but attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs, where she majored in English and Religious Studies. Her love for faith-based communities and ecumenism was born there, resulting in research projects that explored conversion into the Eastern Orthodox Church and feast day observations in Italian religious communities.
Kat eventually returned to Norman and received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked throughout the nonprofit field, with experience in the areas of domestic violence, health and safety, field research, and child welfare. In her free time, Kat also hosts a podcast about the Manito culture of New Mexico. She is a board member and volunteer for the Friends of the Norman Library, and loves genealogy, gardening, and crafting. Kat lives in Norman with her partner and their foster kitty.
